    2-4GB is mostly enough for all *as I'm aware of* pirating needs.

    I put 8GB in an ultra portable for my niece.
    Originally it only had 2GB, running win7 64bit.

    2x4GB Corsair was pretty cheap.
    And I recycled the HP 2GB into a Toshiba netbook my mother has (it only had 1GB originally).

    I do believe you'll need the 8 cores to emulate all those PS3 and 360 games.
