TVs as a monitor are for poor people that can't afford a proper 30" monitor .

At Sword: I'm actually preferential to 5:4 AR, it's just that the only step from 1280x1024 for LCDs (readily available, that I know of) would cost 2 grand or more.

Though I am in the market for a new TV. Having to switch inputs is getting to be a hassle. Second TV is going to be used exclusively for the console, so I'll have it mounted to the wall here.
