Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal HD![]()
Just finished Faxanadu on the NES. It's been a loooooong time since I played this one, and It actually took me about 6 hours to finish. Pretty lengthy game, especially for an NES title.
Beat Daikatana in a couple of hours. I cheated but I really didnt want to stay frustrated by it for the game play. I didnt like the cut scenes, no voices, bad music, bad lines to read which went slow, AND if you pressed A during them thats the end of the scene, in the normal gameplay its makes the paragraphs go by quick. SO, I beat the final boss and instinctively hit A, and that was it, game over back to the start screne. Ive seen the beginning of it from a review video, and it sucked. The actual movement of the characters in the cut scenes are something to watch though if you like comedic bad games. I mean seriously, they move worse than ANY other N64 game Ive seen, Mystical Ninja alone kicks its ass.
The game play it self was ok and bad, the game has horrible AI, tons of weapons that are cool, but the strongest weapons dont have effects on the bosses, you need a single semiautomatic to kill them, which doesnt take much to do.
There were good ideas behind this game, but because of a whole lot of mistakes by John Romero we ended up with a bad game and a whole lot of "could have beens".
Dont play it, but if you do, use an emulator, cheat, and make the pixel count go up so the graphics are sharp and clean. Stick with DOOM.

I started Willow (NES) earlier today, and somehow ended up switching to the Dragon Quest 1 remake for the Super Famicom. So, I booted it up, and 3 1/2 hours later I finished it. Game is freakishly short.... granted I did crank up the EMU speed while I was grinding levels, but other than that there is literally nothing to do in this game! I played and beat the original back when it came bundled with my Nintendo Power subscription and remember thinking the game would never end. Haha, how times have changed!
Just finished beating Jet Grind Radio
The Sonic part of Sonic Adventure

The Knuckles part of Sonic Adventure
Yeah it was alot easier in the second one due to that ability that shows you the nearest blast shard. Just had to get out a map and cross off each one as I picked it up. I thought I had fucked it up because scanning the map only showed one shard on a certain building, but you have to climb that shit for the other one to show up. Still though despite their being 350 of them the hardest trophy was killing 25 guys while riding on a moving train.
I just beat the Amy part of Sonic Adventure, two more lines to go before Perfect Chaos battle!
F1 2012 (Xbox 360)
Beat the career mode with Williams, winning 19/20 races. Pole position on 19/20 races as well. Constructors + World Driver Championships were both won.
Beat the season challenge mode as well, swapping it up between teams whenever possible. Quite a fun mode. Career is where it's at though.
Super Bonk (SNES) few days ago. Pretty good game some funny moments.
Yesterday the wonderful Actraiser (SNES) I loved how action and city-building were combined in this one. Too bad they removed the simulation parts for the sequel...
