Surprising? No. Obnoxious? Yes.
One of the few things Sony did right.![]()
Well that kinda blows. Region locking should be something of the past. Of course I'm sure this decision has to do more with trying to prevent piracy than anything else, that's my guess. Hopefully the Xbox 720(or whatever MS plans to call it) and PS4 will not be region-locked.
It has everything to do with Nintendo thinking they know best with what people want to play in each region (as well as them not wanting Japanese people to import because of gaming costs there I'd imagine).
They just don't want all the howaito piggu to play their glorious nippon games.![]()
i just started on the Big part of Sonic Adventure.
So.
MUCH.
FAIL
i can't wait for the Wii U Region-blaster
Im considering buying a WII U, just cause Im afraid of how bad the PS4 will be, and how the 720 will most likely fall to mallware infections. Its been too long since I bought a Nintendo system.
Does anyone know if I can play WII games with the Pro Controller and not the wiimote and nobby thing?
Let's hope WiiU becomes Nintendo's next big thing, something like snes did in the past.

Yeah, its their return console to me. The Gamecube just didnt have a great library, and the wii wasnt for hardcore gamers, now theyll get back to what they do best. Im probably gonna buy Bayonette 2, and the 5 or 6 WII games i wanted to play.

Marvelous AQL has a long list of titles they could bring to Steam like Luminous Arc 3, No More Heroes, and Grand Knights History. After the cancellation of the PSP English release, it'd be awesome if this happened."At this point, we are considering our best options. The PC is a killer platform, Steam is a dynamite service, and as long as I’m here I’ll be championing both for our games, old or new. The best things you can do to see more games from us on Steam is pick up this game and let us know you are interested in others. I can’t give you any specific hints, but if the game sells reasonably well, I personally would like to see us doing something *grand* on the PC. I think others would too, but first I have to show my bosses it’s a lucrative platform."
If you don't remember what Grand Knights History is, it's Vanillaware's wargame/turn-based RPG on the PSP, only in Japan as of now.
