I cant get rid of my laptop sadly. There are occasions when I need it.
As for the innards, I posted a thread discussing particular CPUs and made a decision near the end. Its last-years build, but still has a hold on today's games.
AMD, Quad core, water-cooled, overclocked, 8GB 1600 RAM (to begin with), 1GB 128-bit GDDR5, dual monitor and loads of 120mm LED fans.
I'll get an SSD later since I spent more than I wanted to on the Video card, so for now I am stuck with an older 80GB sata HDD...

Actually, I wanted to set my laptop on its side for better air flow and hook it up to my other monitor cause the resolutions would be the same on the adjacent sides (lol), but my laptop refuses to be oriented on its side which is lame.
