Default Pokemon soulsilver crashing 100% of time on save, after i get 3rd badge

Well its exactly what my topic title says. Using no$gba 2.6a with no$zoomer 2.3.0.2. Any known solutions to this issue? The most common one i've heard so far is to use Desmume, but since i can only play the game at about 30 fps on there, i'd rather not have to go that route. Before the 3rd badge i did run into occasional crashes on save, but not too often.

    EDIT
In short when i get the "fatal error message" and the rom image crashes the save file actually reverts backwards to where it was before the emulator was booted up. So if i had say played for an hour made 1 successful save but then the next one failed a half hour later(just a example), it reverts back the entire hour and a half. Its quite a severe sort of crash, and very annoying.

    EDIT AGAIN
Its been a fairly uncommon issue so far, its only become extremly common (about 9.5/10 times now for crashing on save) ever since getting the 3rd badge and water bottle both. Before getting the 3rd badge and water bottle, the crash frequency was about 20% which was manageable though extremly annoying.

Calm down. You should try BIOS as I heard that BIOS can fix this problem. Setting BIOS for NO$GBA can be a bit tough therefore I suggest you to check this simple tutorial. Beware that some links to download may not work as they're outdated. Maybe you can find them via emuparadise.org, google or ask me if you're that lazy.

If BIOS method is not working, you can try this rom if you haven't downloaded it yet.

okay, lets see....i already had biosnds7 and biosnds9 downloaded(don't remember when or where i picked them up) It looks like i never bothered to configure them for use, as i have it set to start cartridge directly at the moment. I don't currently have gba.rom or firmware.bin. I don't particularly like googling around for such things, as sometimes such files are virused, do you have a link for them you know to be safe?

    Here's the GBA.ROM file;

Just an FYI, as far as files being "virused" you only have to worry about actual executable files (.exe, .bat, .com, .msi, .jar, etc); .bin and .rom files for example are not executable, and therefore can't infect you with anything. Even if you were to download an infected executable you would still need to actually "execute" it to be infected.

In any case, when in doubt use an online virus scanner such as http://virusscan.jotti.org/en to scan suspicious files.
"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"

ahh i see, well thanks for the links, i'll edit this post in a little while if i have problems still.

    EDIT
Okay there seems to be no further crashes on saving now, thanks for the help.

    EDIT AGAIN
Hmmn the clock seems to be only keeping track of time while the emulator is running making it so i have to go manually update it every time i start up the emulator, is there a way to fix this?

Glad that your problem is finally solved by BIOS. And about the clock, just forget about it. What matter is that your NO$GBA loaded with BIOS and your problems are gone. It can be a bit annoying. As far as I concerned, there is no solution for that though.

actually funny enough, i have to disable the bios again to get pokemon white to boot up now, but thats a very easy thing to do, and doesn't even matter much since i intend to pour most of my time into SoulSilver. The main reason i was asking about the clock thing is because pokemon catching revolves around it on SoulSilver.

sorry to revive this topic but, i wanted to ask another question. I've been noticing occasional graphical corruption(namely my trainer and the pokemon that is out) after battles in random routes, is this normal? (only about 1 of 50 battles usually, though i have seen it after only 1 battle before. Also i have not seen it occur inside a cave, only outdoor areas) I never had this problem on the previous rom i was using(i sunk several hundred battles into it easily). Its easily fixed by simply doing something to refresh the upper screen(like open up pokemon menu and back out. The 3d renderer is set to "nocash." I'm simply trying to figure out if this is a serious issue, or something to simply dismiss out of hand.
