Seriously. I remember playing it and being like "Well at least there's Guy~ He's just a nice, down to earth guy who happens to be afraid of women". Then you find out he actually planned on killing Luke once upon a time. Oh.

Still kind of love it, though. It's melodrama, but it's fun melodrama.

I know, it used to be my favorite 3D Tales until Graces rolled around. Still love it and might even replay it one day.

However, the part after Luke blows up that town by accident and everyone pretty much abandons him/calls him the scum of the earth at a time when they should be giving him support was just too much for me at the time. WAY TO BE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE FRIENDS, GUYS

That Cerberus bossfight almost made me ragequit, though. And the target audience for this game was supposed to be kids? I imagine many controllers were broken by angry 12-year-olds back then.

I know, right? I mean I know the kid's been a massive jerkass, but... like... he's been incredibly sheltered his whole life? And he's young? Cut the guy a little bit of slack. :'D Then again, given that most of the characters in TotA are kind of massive jerks, their reaction pretty much makes sense.

If Graces bested Abyss as your favourite 3D Tales, then it must be played at some point. High praise indeed! :3

Also the reason why the glorious bromance and borderline I WISH I KNEW HOW TO QUIT YOU scenes in Graces just made me fall in love with that game instantly. It was such a breath of fresh air after TotA's nonstop angst.

My little brother's fifteen year old ex-girlfriend played through most of it here back in the day. We wound up fighting most of the bosses for her.
