I realise that so much of it is completely dumb, both in terms of the utterly insane, "let's just throw in anything that comes to mind" plot and the completely broken gameplay mechanics. Which is why I used to be pretty down on it myself. But in recent years, something about it has just kind of grabbed me. One of these games that you love without really being able to justify why you love it, I guess. :'D
