I'm thinking Abrupt Decay is just going to turn into an instant speed, 2 cost, uncounterable vindicate in extended and modern depending on how kind the formats are to it. (Because I have no idea what the metas look like.)

Everything about Abrupt Decay is awesome (name, art, flavour text), the same goes for Supreme Verdict. It obviously depends on the environment for how much play Abrupt Decay sees but damn does it look good. Apparently each guild is getting an uncounterable card. Rakdos one has been the weakest so far.

    So much flavour so far.
    You forgot flash.

Well Modern is just Extended with more sets isn't it? It's only natural that one would replace the other. After all, with more sets being introduced into the game that would leave a lot of sets in a dead zone of unplayability if not for expanding the formats. Of course with Extended/Modern being the only one effect by it, since Vintage and Legacy are pretty much eternal and Standard is narrow enough to where it's irrelevant.

    tl;dr:

Magic the Gathering had too many cards, Modern needed to happen.

Probably. The ban list is quite large for it. Some players won't play it because of this. Anyway, today's cards are pretty juicy.

Yo Snaps, we BFFS? I thought so. If this thing had flash...ho boy...

    GW Tokens guuu

This seems like it could be powerful, cmc is a bit high (would 3 be too busted? idk, but still this card is interesting).

    Loooooool

What the fuck, Magic the Gathering?

If that faerie had flash, I would quit magic enough times for everyone.

Magic needs more things that make tokens. ALL OF THE TOKENS!

As for Jarad's Orders, 3cmc would definitely be busted, but at 4 it should be instant speed. Idk man, I'm still going to play the shit out of it in EDH. Because more tutors.

GTFO of here with that Cyclonic bullshit. Why, WHY YOU MAKE BLUE SO GOOD. It should be a sorcery.

Definitely. That card seems really fun in EDH. It GW tokens is ever a thing I have to imagine it would be a key player.

It does everything you want it to do in a couple of EDH decks that already exist.

I fully intend of playing both Jarad's Orders and Growing Ranks in Ghave EDH.

    Seems logical.

Might want to find room for that x/x trample populating guy as well.

There's a lot of stuff I want to make room for. GWB combinations are eye catching in this set. Maybe that's just my boner for Rock decks.

Speaking strictly from draft perspective. It's what I do with all unreleased sets.
