Wow, when downloading 2-3 torrents my internet downloads 8MB/S.

It kills the cpu, but the speed of getting stuff is worth it.

Yes, while you are downloading you connect to the seeders of the file and peers. Peers are those that are currently downloading the file like you. Leechers are those that just download the file and then cut of the upload once they are done downloading (they dont want to take the time to upload the file back)

Yes, torrents does slow down the computers. Because it downloads and uploads at same time with too many connections.

My computer slows down because I guess it just can't handle writing 8mb/s.

    Bittorent spikes in cpu usage.

I pay around $20 for 1.5 over here.
To get the speeds Spose' has I'd have to pay like five times (or something stupid like that) what I do now...it's not worth it considering I don't play games online, don't stream anything, and I'm patient about pirating

If you're torrenting it'll also probably slow the connection for any other users on your lan (if there are any).

Different places, different prices, different lucks. I'd have to pay 70$ for spose's like speeds.
