Read Interesting times by Terry Pratchett. Certainly an interesting read. I find myself enjoying his work more and more every time I read a new book of his.

The Cuckoos Egg
Anybody looking forward to the final Wheel of Time novel?
p.s. it's been completed now it's just going through publishing (hurry up TOR)!
The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again.

YES! YES! YES!
I wonder how it will turn out, the first one umm book 12 I think was pretty good but I didn't find the next one 13? was all that great. I was expecting more from Mat in the tower of Ghenjei (sp?) But yeah can't wait, finally a nice diversion from all this Game of Thrones crap.
Into a few, at the moment....
Big Driver (King)
Everything's Eventual (")
Cell (")
you sir have just been friended, and c'mon The Towers of Midnight was amazing and they set the stage for that entire tower in all the previous books with the kid that had been following mat and his gang around. definitely looking forward to it and Terry Brook's new book he's working on.

Game of Thrones, I watch the series then read the book If I reverse order it will take from the shows awesomeness.
Catch-22. It's a good book. I recommend it to anyone who wants to read something.
And accepted.
I dunno I just found it rushed somehow. I almost want to go back and read the series again in anticipation of the finale, I forgot a lot of stuff like you mentioned Olver is it??? The little boy that follows Mat. Took me 3 days just to remember his name so yeah I should at least read the last couple agian. It'll take awhile to read though heh. Terry Brooks - oh yeah Shannara and such, I hear they may be making a movie based on Elfstones of Shannara. Yay.
I'm the exact opposite. I dropped the series after episode 2 and only started watching it again after I finished the first two books. I just didn't like the idea of reading hundreds of pages of a story and already knowing the ending, it would've ruined the novels for me I think.
Ivanhoe by Sire Walter Scott.

I recently downloaded a copy of all the volumes of the Necronomicon, as well as the short stories by HP Lovecraft.
It's about an insane Arabian named Abu Al-Hazred who discovers an ancient race
of alien gods who bless him with hallowed knowledge of sorcery.

Interview with the Vampire- I read this book decades(?) ago. I'm rereading so I can read the other books in the series.
Vulture's Picnic-Greg Palast: The author is an investigative journalist who digs up a lot of dirt on corrupt businesses and such. He exposes the lies that corporations tell the the public. The first chapter is about BP. He uncovers a lot of interesting things, for example BP's underwater rigs have exploded before, it wasn't made public. Excellent read.
