VHS tapes are somewhat important for my parents, seeing as things are recorded on it.

People have told me several times they've mistaken me for a native speaker based on my writing style. (which would never happen IRL due to the accent) I tell them I learned the majority of my English from video games. People who look down on that sort of thing are narrow-minded dinosaurs living in the past.

Most of my English I learnt from anime and cartoons and video games, the rest I learnt at school.
And my English is better than my first language, Afrikaans.
Those English classes was boring
Except for some of the essays. And orals, the final oral I had before leaving school happened to be about what I would do when I was finished with school. Make video games.
But I can't do that if the world really does end this year.
