I don't like Coke too much, but when it's 85p in the Co-Op for 1.25 litres I'll sure as hell drink it.

'Energy drinks' = The 'Dr. Feelgood' snakeoil remedy of the modern age.

I'll tell you, though, whoever it was that thought-up adding a bit of extra caffeine to a soda-like beverage, along with some 'energy-enhancing herbs' to create a psychosomatic effect was a friggin GENIUS! Those added bits, 'taurine' and such, do about as much for a persons energy level as those dried flowers and fruit slices floating in certain shampoos...heh...eye candy only, kiddies..

They are even adding liquor to those already toxic concoctions....seems a bit like a b-grade sci fi plot, to me..

Whats wrong with a cola or a strong cup of coffee? Not in vogue with the X-Box/Mt. Dew crowd, or?

I loved Coke when I was a kid. I didn't mind Pepsi either, but my family usually bought Coke. My Grandparents here in the Midwest were against letting kids have caffeine, so there was always that to contend with when we visited from California.

Wait....there is a discernable difference between Coke and Pepsi? News to me...

That particular character is not part of my 'SW universe', but, yeah...

It comes from sort of an in-joke. An artist I once met at a convention did some work on a SW/Lucas documentary, and he drew a picture along with the moniker 'George R. Binks' as a jab at the character.

Thanks and all, but just a bit of 'life experience', I'm sure...
(Along with a load of utterly useless pop-culture crap, heh...)

There are guys and girls here, several that are young enough to be children of mine, that dwarf me when it comes to curriculum-based knowledge and the like....for sure...

    Nearly the grog hour here....

Pop-Culture? I've forgotten the word because of the unoriginality of today's pop-culture I just call it crap.
