It's odd, but why do I envision some sort of battle with the elements when I listen to that battle theme?
    I must be on something.

That sounds so much like an Irish or Scottish Folk sing or something.

Was actually just listening to that track after Abyss was mentioned. So awesome. Wish Motoo Fujiwara had been allowed to do more of the soundtrack.

And if you have a spare IDE harddisk lying around, you might want to consider buying a cheap fat PS2 and a network adaptor, and setting up Open PS2 Loader and FreeMCBoot. Saves you lots of money on blank DVDs in the long term, the compatibility of games from the harddisk is really good with the latest version, and you get faster loading times into the bargain~ I got a network adaptor from a friend, and bought a fat PS2 with a broken laser from ebay for like a fiver since I knew I could just install games over the network, so it hardly cost me a thing. :'D

I'm surprised this wasn't the first smiley to grace EP after seeing the initial article

Soooo unlike Sakuraba, to boot. Sounds much more like Yasunori Mitsuda or something.

It is so full of cheese and clichés, but it's the sort of cheese you can be lenient with.
My friend calls it Tales of Bromance. And had basically the same sentiments. She said it was full of cheese, but just so sweet and fun that she couldn't bring herself to care.

    Lucky :O
I have a slim with FreeMC Boot, and there's only like 20 games I have to get for it (Tales of, SMT, Namco x Capcom, Disgaeas, Ateliers, Mana Khemia, and others)

Can't believe I didn't think of that name, it fits the game so perfectly. Asbel x Richard forever and ever. <3

And an actual brofist does happen in the PS3-exclusive epilogue, yes.

Mana Khemia. <3 I don't know why I loved that game so much, but there was just something about it that made me unbelievably happy. Played through it in like three days, which I neeeever do with games these days. Still want Gust to make a third one, even if I wasn't that fond of the second's story and characters. School hijinks + Atelier gameplay mechanics is such a winning combination!

I did like, the same thing. There's just something about it. I liked the characters, especially Jess.

Ship has obviously sailed on the third. Don't think they'd go back to it after going through another subset in the Atelier franchise.

This is beautiful. :'D I always thought the bromance in the Tales games tended to be much better than the romance anyway. Yuri and Flynn, Kyle and Loni, Stahn and Leon, Luke and Asch... A game focusing exclusively on that is most relevant to my interests.

Totally agree with ya, Legendias Story/plot/characters coulda been a lil better but the Soundtrack, some serious ear candy
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.
