Yeah, I did look for an American SNES while I was there but couldn't find one for a decent price so I picked up a Retro Duo. I'm pretty happy with it. Outside of region locked PAL titles that wouldn't run on an import console anyway I've only encountered one game that doesn't work properly so far.

Yeah I used to have one. It was pretty reliable.

You would have had to dug for a SNES. When you hunt regularly you can snag them for under $10 fairly regularly. Just having to buy one from a reseller online or at a used game store though is another story entirely.

Sometimes you can get a working 360 for $2.50 .

I think I'm also going to work towards a fullset N64 collection, either in tandem with my NES collecting or once I hit around 400 NES games. I forgot how many quality games there were for that system.

Sometimes JP versions are double or more. Stuff like Tech Romancer and Bangai-O. I did however pay very little for my JP copy of Powerstone when the US release was going for $40. No clue what it's going for now, I'm sure the PSP release dug into the value.

I should check up on the english copy then.

It used to be so cheap to get the great games. Nowadays though both Zeldas will run $20+, Super Smash and Mario Kart 64 will both run 30+ and these are cart only. I miss them being like $10.

i got the Zeldas for 10, my entire bundle (seperate sellers) was less than 90
