I got another one. You guys have been helpful in the past. Here are the details I can think of:

Arcade game, twin stick shooter (one stick to move, one to shoot), with a Top-down perspective. I think it was 1994 that I played it (somewhere around there). It was two players, you were Rambo like characters I believe. Desert levels (at least one) I remember, and one of the bosses was basically a giant green head with guns. There was also a Gameboy version that I owned.

    SOLVE Total Carnage

It's called, wait for it, Theatre.

I registered to ask about a game... Played it in 1988 or 1989 on arcades. Top down, scrolling shooter. You were riding a motorbike equipped with a machine gun and you had to chase down and destroy a convoy made up of various cars, trucks and motorbikes, with enemy soldiers shooting glowing balls at you. It had a WWII-era vibe. Anyone?

e: oh, and it's definitely not Thundercade.

    Default Searching for a game!

It's about a guy who was (I think) an apprentice to a blacksmith. He learns to make swords and uses swords to fight off enemies.

The game is centered with him making new swords and defeating new enemies. If I remembered correctly, there was a few parts to this series.

I'm sure it was on the GBA, but it might be available for the DS too. Please help me the find the game!

I remember the protagonist was blonde, and he had some sort of a partner.. a female or some sort of animal or something (maybe)

I believe it's a BIT similar to Kingdom Hearts..

Edit: I believe the protagonist was able to move around freely. Except during battles

Edit 2: I found the game, it was Summon Night: Swordcraft 2

My question is, is there a similar game on the DS?

Could it be Sega´s Action Fighter? Not much of a WWII vibe, but there aren´t that many motorcycles in arcade shooters to pick from...

Is it Portal Runner for PS2?

Thanks, but that's not the game. The one I played had much bigger sprites and the WWII vibe was definitely there. Thanks for replying, though.

    Hello all on Emuparadise Forums,

I remember playing a windows game from the 95/98 era the player was a mouse that had to trap cats inside of a grid box formation and they turned into cheese slices for bonus, if I remember correctly the squares that blocked the cats in the game were green? I think the game might have been called rat maze but I am not definitely sure on that.

    Thanks,
    HaloSlayer255

The only games I can think of with tanks in them is the Metal Max series. Doesn't really match up with your description though.

The first Metal Max was for the NES- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1I6MB5A6UQ

The second was Metal Max 2 for the SNES- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8xTT...eature=related

They also came out with a remade version of the original Metal Max for the SNES and called it Metal Max Returns- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1B6r_5MWhQ
