Let me guess, no response when you turned it on.

No, I disassembled the cooling system to clean the fan, and took the RAM sticks out to clean the pins.

Put them back in different slots, IDK why, and Windows refused to start.

Kept BSODing at the splash screen.

Well, RAM is Rapid Access Memory, so switching them around essentially "confused" Windows into thinking it was missing important system files 'cause it's not smart enough to realize what had happened.

All it knew was " HAI, DAT INFORMATION AINT DER NO MO. FIX IT NAOOO"
