Magic is actually in a player boom currently. It definitely waxes and wanes but Standard is pretty healthy right now especially with Ponder and the Titans rotating out.

I remember that when Erik was deep into it, the cardset was called 'Urza' something or other

I do it because it drives Nem, Gyp, Shard and Sword nuts.

Ponder is just as bad though. It makes sure I'm swinging with a 3/2 flier on turn 3. Maybe 2 3/2 fliers on turn 3.
