It should run, don't expect good speeds.

RE: Code Veronica X should work with good speed since it's port from DreamCast and as other 'old' RE games it don't have big open spaces and tons of enemies on screen at the same time.

The processor might have just scraped by if you had 2GB of RAM and a decent dedicated GPU. But the system the way it is is a definite no.

No. You need a new computer. It's the only way.

Edit: I'm obviously kidding, that setup should be more than enough to do PS2 emulation.

"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"

Well, I wouldn't be so sure if it can run most games fluently, since I often read users on the official PCSX2 forum complaining about poor performance on rigs with AMD-CPUs...
The developers of PCSX2 also stated multiple times that AMD processors tend to perform much worse than their intel counterparts, so...
I suggest you should try it out, it really depends on the games you wanna play: FFX or KH will run just fine while SoC or Metal Gear Solid 3 will most likely give some serious problems...

IMHO, he should be fine,my pc is weaker and i run Fatal Frame 2,FFX,XII,Persona 3FES and 4 in 3xnative,and the demanding ones like Fatal Frame 3,Shadow of the Colossus,Valkyrie Profile Silmeria among others heavy weight games,.. in 2xNative,.. and they have a solid frame rate (60),leaving aside emulator's bugs, glitches, etc etc. But it's true, pcsx2 and dolphin really likes intel "moar" than amd an i5 OCed at 4.0+Ghz and you can run everything with all the filters on. /sigh /tossing the amd and getting an intel lol.

You would do better with MTVU speed hack enabled (in latest SVN)
