My ultra portable and my main desktop both have 320GB drives.
I have quite a few ext's now though........I've had to tag them

My 640GB has unrecoverable sectors or something along those lines. I imagine when it writes past a certain amount of the drive it'll just fuck up and die. I need to get it out and replace it with an SSD. The 640GB drive has my OS on at the minute, has like 500GB free.

There's a $30 bump for each TB past the first, except for a 4TB which is like $500.

It's not difficult to fill large drives when you're getting loads of full HD video and dumping/downloading unmolested images.
And there are all sorts of things I've got that aren't for me anyway.

I probably should go through all my drives and remove unwanted stuff (if there is any)

I've got my 500GBs set up for games/films. One for each. Lost interest in the PC game downloading thing though 150GB in.

In the past year I've probably downloaded enough to fill a TB easy. You have no idea how hard it is for me to get rid of things. Beat a game - delete, watch a movie delete and so on.
