I was wondering though. The trophy for not setting off any alarms, does that include enemies being "alarmed" as shown in the map box or do actual alarms have to be going off?

It refers to the alarms exclusively. If a given area does not have any alarm there's nothing to worry even if you are seen. And if you are seen but you are quick enough to take the enemy down before he can reach the panel to activate the alarm you should be safe too.
Anyway, try to play stealthy and avoid any kind of combat, you'll get much more EXP. Plus, playing that way hard mode is anything but hard.
The pacifist trophy was harder for me due to some nasty glitch... if you take someone out, always check for the Zzz icon just to be safe.

Fushigi no Gensoukyou 2 ~ Miracle Party Plus
After months of remorsing, decided to contnue this game. Updated all the way to Plus 1.55 and can continue the main game. Route 10 clear, Ending #8 get! Route 10 has 5 endings so gotta do #5 first. Or better yet, do the main game stuffs then on to the new expansion!

MotorStorm Apocalypse
Really fun game. I never gave the franchise a try after the first game, even tho Pacific Rift looked nice, but I've enjoyed this one a lot. Perhaps cos it's less off-road and more varied than previous games. The natural disasters making the tracks change when you don't expect it (à la Split/Second) leave no room for boredom. Some graphic effects like the rain and water are fantastically recreated. If you like arcade racing games, you'll like this one.

No More Heroes. Started playing it like 2-3 years ago and finally beat it. Outside of the assassin fights the game is really mediocre and that's why I lost interest so many times. Heard NMH2 is better so I guess I'll start playing that any day now.
