I'm still in shock really. Don't even really know how they won that game...
I love you so much~ <3
Annoyed that Russia went out being that they were one of my teams and easily the most attractive footballing side in their group, but it's nice for the Greek people to have something to celebrate right now.I just hope for the sake of good football that they don't go any further. :'D Every time a team like that wins, the football fan in me dies a little.
They like to kill many things, monetary systems included
Germany will have to kick them out of the Euro. Just like in real life!
EDIT: Outstanding Cristiano and disappointing Holland again, so sad to see them out :/ Seems that the curse persists, if you were a WC finalist, get ready to not reach the quarters in the next Euro. I've read that only Germany managed to survive to the groups stage in 1988 after being a finalist in Mexico 86 :O
Nice to see Ronaldo delivering.I've always been on the Messi side of the fence (don't look at me like that Cookie... :'D), but it's nice to see one of them actually replicating his club form at international level for a change. :'D Awesome performance today. And who knows? After two goals today, he could seal that Golden Boot yet!
Don't even want to mention Holland because two nice van der Vaart strikes aside, I am so disappointed with them. Then again I didn't really think much of them in the last World Cup either despite them reaching the finals. Over the two tournaments they've played the least visually pleasing football I can ever remember Holland playing, and while I appreciated their stones in getting to the final in the World Cup (at least they looked like a team there, unlike now), I was pretty much celebrating when Spain took the trophy. Maybe it's the purist in me talking, but it's a shame to see one of the most historically beautiful footballing nations in the world play so ugly when they easily have the pool of talent to play like... well... Holland. :/ Hopefully being sent home with a big fat zero points will cause them to rethink their approach a little.
Mini-men sure like to play with fire. And slowly. Slooooooowly.
Ramos borderlining the penalty in the first half, Busquets shamefully wasting the only clear counter-attack (5 vs 3) we had, Iniesta missing passes left and right instead of enjoying the view from the bench instead of Silva... aside from Casillas, Navas and Silva, Spain was a disaster today, we played a terrible match.
I'm still looking at you, Elly

How come an opposing player is never right down Xavi jock strap? If he is prevented from receiving the ball b/c of really tight marking, Spain would have less success.
I think it was. And there was another one even more evident by Busquets. Germany was also favoured yesterday when Badstuber pulled back Bendtner, should have been penalty as well. Neither can really complain..
On a side note, I read this on Peter Schmeichel's twitter today: "Note to #MortenOlsen on how to get result #Germany: don't let Gómez have the ball, in #EURO2012 he's had it for 22 sec and scored 3 goals.! "![]()
Yeah that could have been a harsh penalty. Favourites get the treatment.
Wow, new goal of the tournament so far. Ibrahimovic was simply magnificent.

Said it on some other sites already. Goal line tech needs to be used but all the football federations are ran by dinosaurs.
Like many things with changes in sport, I will believe it when I see it.
I trust none of them but Platini is far worse, is almost as bad as former Secretary General of FIBA Stanković. He will do anything to protect the French national team and clubs.
Always criticizing Chelsea, Madrid and now Man. City because they could get almost any player they need with their apparently unlimited money, making the whole competition unfair, and now that PSG's new owners are going to start doing the same, what will he say?![]()
