    Default Problem with Xenogears cutscene

    Hi there.
I'm using pSX v1.13 emulator with the Xenogears ISO from emuparadise. I downloaded all the BIOS available on the site and I have had no problems with any other games so far.

The problem is with a cutscene that happens in the desert (just in case you've played the game and are familiar with this problem) near Dazil after Fei is reunited with Citan who is riding the Gear, a battle ensues with 2 other gears and then a 'man in black' laughs standing on top of a gear.

The cutscene happens here and begins with Fei inside the gear talking but although the audio plays fine the video always freezes and won't continue.

I'm using a Dell Optiplex GX280 with Windows XP, DirectX 9.0 running at 2.80GHz. The graphics card is an Intel Express Chipset and RAM is 1014MB.

And just an extra querie, is pSX a good emulator to use? Or would ePSXe be better?

I think epsxe would be better. If you save the game on the memory card, you can find your memory card's .bin file. Rename .bin to .mcr and you can use the save on epsxe. for a guide on configuring epsxe, check here. Check and see if you can continue on epsxe.

Thanks a lot! I'll give that a try.
