I just finished watching Transformers: Rise of The Fallen (Transformers 2) and all I want to say is that I didn't find it to be nearly as bad as everyone made it out to be. People need to look at action movies like a good opportunity to turn your brain off and look at flashing lights and listen to loud noises and cheer with the other zombies next to you.
Was the movie great? Hell no. Michael Bay doesn't know great, but I step into these things with my tasted turned WAAAY down.![]()
Seriously. Whoever the fuck is watching action films for storytelling is doing it wrong and will always set themselves up for disappointment.
Holy shit, I'm still awake.
Holy shit, just one more morning of work and I get a couple of days off to myself. To do nothing. Because yeah.
Holy shit, I can't believe it's not butter!
[spoiler]holyshit[/shit]
Been trying to get some sleep but, sadly, crazies outside are blasting cowbell and weird songs. So hi again.
Aaaah, blissful silence. I can sleep again!

Yeah I was talking to my Dad today about how movies have gotten more shallow. I grew up in the 80's thinking that Cyborg was going to happen and I needed to be stronger than Death and Hell. The new kids of the internet generation just don't understand that only the strong survive.
It's 2:30 am. If your invoked style of speech is a reference to something, I'm just not getting it. Don't get me wrong, it sounds really cool, awesome, and badass. But... I really should go to bed now. A pox on the neighbors who were blasting really dumb and annoying bongo-and-cowbell music for nigh on to 6 hours!
I'm tired of getting up so early.
