EDIT: Bought WWE Crush Hour. Could be a laugh, but I reckon its just going to be rubbish.
It's PSN's "premium package." It's usually just a discount off PSN purchases, access to exclusive content from time to time and the occasional free PSN game, but they have decided to branch out into more free retail titles. Which is why I joined. Eight of those games that I grabbed are PSN titles, and I'm not even sure if I'm going to play all of them. But I figured I might as well download them anyways, since they're free. I can decide if I'm going to play them later.

Its nice to have the option, you never know when you'll be stuck for something to do and then you find you got these games you downloaded a while back

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. The subscription cost $50 for one year, and those are the games that I've grabbed over the last two days (I wisely decided to pick it up while last week's deals were still in the store, so I managed to snag all of them too). There's easily over $50 of games right there, whether I play them or not (and at least five or six of them will get some play time). Even with the new HDD I picked up so I can make sure I keep up with grabbing games that come out that interest me, I'm only $110 in, and really, all of those games probably match that cost that I've put in. And there's still another twelve months to go.

My plan is to start saving for a new car right now, so this actually is a great way for me to get some games that I might not normally grab and attempt to curb my wild spending at game stores picking through their used or bargain bin sections.
