    Yeah that can lead to some stupid things happening. Mainly any combo with Gravecrawler.

    Yup, infinitely huge Grimgrin, infinite mana off of either of the altars. I guess you could try some weird graveyard trigger combos too. Needs more gravestorm.

    It's never going to happen. Gravestorm is a really tricky mechanic, but delve is just too god-like, any cards that would use the mechanic would need to be toned down due to it.

    What magic needs is more Riggers.

    Yeah, I feel like if it were to happen it would have needed to have been in Innistrad block, what with all the graveyard shit and all. Undying is cool though.

    Nah, it needs banding and mana burn. Since those two ideas are never going to happen, get rid of infect and indestructible. Those were always trolling abilities and provided no real tactical strategy considering what creatures had those abilities.

    Undying was cool, but I'm not sure of how many creatures took advantage of the double ETB trigger. Though, that being said, it would be understandable why there weren't many Undying creatures with good ETB abilities; just think about it, Kitchen Finks and Murderous Redcap w/ Undying instead of Persist.

    Not really, because mana burns causes you to empty your mana pool, then take damage for every mana removed. Since her ability prevents step 1, step 2 cannot be done. The only time you'll piss yourself is when Omnath dies and you can't use up all that mana right away.

    You sure as hell wouldn't want to drop it out there turn 3 anymore, only to eat a EOT Terror-turned-Incinerate the next turn. You would need to provide constant protection to a relatively frail creature in a color that can't really meet that demand. Short of digging for specific cards like Asceticism or Lightning Greaves, bearing in mind that green is absolutely terrible at digging for cards. Which is why it would be difficult to play Omnath effectively anymore.

    It will please you to know Infect is a deck again in standard. Some dumb new enchantment made this possible.

    Yeah. Geralf's Messenger is probably enough. Is there anything that prevent +1/+1 counters or would I have to counter them out with -1/-1 to combo mulch with him?

    As for Omnath Spiders nailed it. Mana burn was dumb. Damage not being on the stack was much more controversial but I think also a good decision.

    As far as I know, there is no prevention for +1/+1 counters, you would need to find a way to remove them (not sure if that exists either), or just counter them with -1/-1 counters.
