Honestly, I was hoping for a Chinese setting with this chick as the protagonist. Would've been radically different from the previous settings, too.

I would love to see it taken in that direction as well. Honestly, I probably would have preferred that to the American Revolution direction, but either-or works for me. I just don't want the feeling of, "oh look, another Assassin's Creed game in the exact same setting (give or take twenty years)." If this one receives enough user acclaim, I'm sure they will attempt to branch out to other locations in future sequels. If not... then we can always hope.

Yeah, Watch Dogs. I think it looks pretty good but, I won't hold my breath.

I think it looks interesting. I'll hold out on "good" until I see a bit more, but I'm definitely interested. I just have my reservations right now based off that introduction.

I assume the 30 years will be skipping a lot. Seems like it will cover all the big points of the revolution maybe?

The most I would like to see out of this arc is two games. I think one game wouldn't be able to do it enough justice, and three games would be overkill.

Honestly, if they could get into a rotation of "two games in this setting, two games in that setting" kind of sequel rotation, I would definitely be all over the franchise. One of the things keeping me from getting into the "original" games is that there are now so many of them that are interconnected. I don't really want to jump into them and have to put that much commitment into fully realizing the story.
