Actually, a lot of the classic power cards got unbanned (Monster Reborn, Dark Hole, Heavy Storm, and of all things, one of the Envoys)...which really says something about the power creep that's gone into the game since the old days of Chaos. Oy, though, if they ever give us Yatagarasu back, that's when you'll know the power creep's gone too far.

And no, I know someone who played limited alpha and beta (owner of the card shop I play FNM at).

Ah, that does makes me feel a bit better. I wasn't in at the start, so I'm not completely old fogey yet.

    EDIT to post-edit:

Let's see, Magical Scientist FTK, Yata-Lock, DMoC FTK, Elma OTK...if you only play traditional, I can understand why you're out of touch with the meta, since that's even worse than playing Vintage MtG.

Yeah, yu-gi-oh is actually pretty retarded right now power wise. The problem is the game has fundamental problems with balancing. Mainly lack of cost for cards.

I'm up to date with it, it's just not worth discussing.
See: Fundamental gameplay flaws, as mentioned by Gypsy

I'd like to run my Exodia deck in advanced but, important things like Pot of Greed, Painful Choice and, Temple of the Kings, are banned and it runs infinitely better with them.

Getting around to it... | Available via Retroshare 16/7.

So I would have had 15 12/13 plant tokens that I didn't bother making. Just counted from the screen shot.

I assume it's the Primal Surge idea you were discussing before I got carried away with something, right?

It did actually take forever since I need permanents for the card but non-permanents would make the deck flow a bit better. It's kind of a catch 22.

I think you casting Armageddon went in my favour.

possibly since you ramped back up to more land than you had in the first place in only three turns.
