Nah. We've only talked a handful of times since then.

And I'm interested in somebody else.

No. Most of my friends are guys. Um..it's just your situation sounds awkward. You can still be friends with her, just weird. Let me just say this....I've been in some sticky situations myself, and I know it isn't pleasant. That's all I'm saying.

I think in general the best friends are those of your own gender.

I get along better with guys. I guess I'm a tomboy. I have some female friends, but guy friends don't backstab you. Not usually.

Man, just be like I was in high school:

"So you got a boyfriend, huh?"
    "Yeah, he's a good guy"
"Hey, that's cool... but do you love him, though?"
    "Well, I don't know... I don't think we're serious yet..."
"Well, I have a habachi grill and a few beers... you know... if you wanna kick it after school or something..."
"Um... sure, that sounds pretty cool, actually. What's your number?"

There might be reasons for that, but don't be to sure about the backstabbing aspect...

She lives miles away and isn't very thin and she's taller than me.

Nothing was ever going on there anyway.

Oh ok. Well, keep my high school self in mind for the future. It works surprisingly often, sadly enough.
