Ask About ISO PSx (Xenogears on pSX)

Why ISO Xenogears always stuck if have a moment of story ?
please help me ..
i really want to play this game

We need quite a bit more info. Are you playing on an emulator or console? If emulator, which one and version? What plugins, if it's plugin-based (if ePSXe hit config, video, configure (main in 1.7.0 unless you're using the default), click "Copy settings to clipboard" and paste on reply)?

If console, how did you burn it and how are you playing it?

i play in emulator ..
i think that pSX v1.13
is that good ? or any emulator more better?
i had download 4 times xenogears iso .. but the result is same

Never knew about the compatibility list for some reason... NBA Showtime isn't on it though . Is this for epsxe? I ask because I saw version 1.9 listed and wasn't aware of 1.9 version either lol

ah, that battle... i forget how we solved that, if we did, um... i know the game has graphics trouble with some scenes (this was on epsxe 1.7.0 though so it may or may not help, if your using a different emulator, if it doesn't then sorry)

if you reach that scene and the screen goes dark (black or something similar) with the music still playing then its that problem i hit, check this thread and see if whats mentioned there helps: http://www.epforums.org/showthread.p...es-epsxe-1-7-0

if its that problem then i think i just clicked through it blindly (its just talking, the fight there works like normal just fine), oh and fair warning, somewhere way on through the storyline (disc 2 i'm pretty sure) theres a underwater dungeon that'll cause the same problem for some reason)

edit: just looked at the thread i linked and there IS another place in the game that'll cause this problem,

got another problem similar to the above one, i just reached the sargasso underwater cave area (near the end of disc 1) and after entering the dungeon i can't see a thing, even the compass isn't visible.

Did you tried with the configuration posted in the game entry of the PSX Datacenter? Anyway remember that in ePSXe v.1.7.0 you can switch to software mode anytime pressing the F7 key.
