Yeah, I ran into that guy to. He hit me with one massive fireball and damn near killed me, and I booked it. He chased me across the majority of the swamp.

    I damn near pissed myself.

Apparently that "different" root method I was trying was just the same thing, but with a different avenue of attack. It was patched.

Found another root exploit that worked. Now, I have recovery installed, root, and I'm about to install a custom rom. And if it sucks, another custom rom.

Wait... you mean there's an RPG out there that actually lets me know when I'm about to take on a quest that will terminate all of my active quests?

Oh Dragon's Dogma, you are getting better and better every hour.

It's a lot of fun. Considering it came out yesterday, I started playing around 6PM, it's currently a little after 10PM the day after and I've put in a little more than 14 hours into it already, I think it's safe to say that I'm enjoying it.

I never seen a ad or anything for it but i'm also never watching tv so .

I just wonder if i'll enjoy it. I'll probably just gamefly it and take my time with it considering i havn't touched this lord of the ring war in the north in forever cause its boring. I need to just ship it back...

But from what i've heard and seen about Dragon's Doma it looks nice. And i'm surprised since it's by capcom.

I didn't see any ads for it either. I heard about it through Raz. If you check out any of the main review/news sites, though, they've been talking about it for a while. I've seen a decent amount of information come up on Kotaku and IGN over the last month or so.

That makes sense, I would check ign but they are biased and so are many other sites. I like person to person experiences to guide me to what i like .

Since 2/2 people say its good it might be worth the shot!

    Every site is biased.

There's a difference between checking sites to keep up with new releases, and believing every single word that you read. I don't think I've ever bought a game based on their reviews or anything like that, but the preview content that they get is generally the same as every other site, but I know that they will have a decent collection in one spot.

Same thing with Kotaku. I rarely read their opinion pieces, and they have a lot of fluff news, and I usually can't stand their reviews, but they usually have a very quick response to new content being released for upcoming games.

Never view any website as an end-all-be-all of content. The best ones (in my opinion) are the ones who are always on the lookout for worthwhile content and can act as a hub of information so that you (the user) doesn't have the prowl the Internet yourself looking for it.

Imo the best site for reviews would be GameRankings or Gamestats i think those are the two where they add in all reviews as one rating, popularity as one, and user rankings as one. Those seems to be the closest to being none biased.
