The girls at the mall are probably second or third generation, so their speech is...understandable at least. My gf's accent disappeared when she moved back from Sweden and that was a bummer...idk what it is about foreign accents, but jizz in mah pants.

I'm not sure if I fully understand the armour equipment method in Dragon's Dogma.

Either that, or the first set of armour that you can buy in the game is supposed to give your male, Norwegian looking warrior a pair of leather booty shorts and a corset.

I haven't played it yet, but I love it.

On a serious note, is it any good? I've been thinking about picking it up.
I got AC: Brotherhood, I am Alive, and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record (free) today.

I'm really enjoying it so far. It's RPG without being a "spreadsheet" game -- you don't have to pour stats into specific categories each time you level up, like in Dragon Age or Kingdoms of Amalur, for example -- and the combat system is enjoyable. Fairly typical hack-n-slash RPG stuff, like the 3D Zeldas or Amalur. You can choose from three basic character types -- warrior, mage, or rogue, nothing special there. The world looks cool, but I'm still in the beginning stages of it. I'm doing a couple of side quests at the moment before I progress the main story any further.

The "boss" battles, however, are pretty awesome. So far I've battled a chimera (the end boss from the demo, which basically just covers the tutorial), some kind of giant ogre, and a hydra. The boss battles are Shadows of the Colossus-ish without being a blatant ripoff.

You can tell that the game borrows a bunch of little things from previously successful titles to create a fairly entertaining "whole" piece. About the only "unique" thing it's got going for it is the pawn system, where you can go in and grab the sidekick from other people's games and have them join your party, and other people can do the same with your pawn. Having someone use your pawn and take them on quests teaches your pawn new things about areas you might not have visited yet or enemies you might not have encountered yet, and when they return to you and you come to those areas they offer up advice and whatnot. Again, I'm still in the beginning stages of it, but so far I can see how it could be helpful down the road, especially when exploring the different side quests. I've grabbed two pawns so far from online and have been playing with them for a couple of hours.

I do have a few "critiques" about the game, but nothing that stands out as a massive "negative." If you do pick it up, I recommend fiddling with the options and turning off pawn subtitles (they talk a lot), and once you settle a good combination of abilities, turn off the ability map. And once you've gotten a hang of the game (around the second village), you can probably get by with turning off the tutorial popups as well. Seriously, there's a lot of clutter on the screen.

About the only thing that's pissed me off so far is the autosave feature. It appears to save more than it does. I've been manually saving every twenty minutes or so, 'cause I had to replay about 45 minutes after I died and got sent all the way back to the beginning, since I could have swore I saw it save at least once while I was going through that section.

I would recommend picking it up. I have no idea right now if it's worth the $60 I paid for it, but I'm really enjoying it so far.
