I don't know why, but I was once at a friends' grandmother funeral, and a lot of people cried and I still did not shed a single tear... the fact kinda disturbs me...
But about "being over it", yeah, I mean, when I get very busy doing stuff, I don't really feel that, but when my father takes out the trash and leaves the
gate open, my first reaction is: "we have to close the gate or the dog will run away again"... he was very independent. x'D

Thats crap. Me and my sister 2 years ago got my mom a kitten for mother's day and my dad screamed at us and made us take it back. We are getting a puppy on June 8 (thats when he will be 8 weeks old)

@foggy we had to put our previous dog to sleep. he had cancer.

Yeah, I remember my dad making a list of cute names and then me and my brother chose the same. Cookie fit him nicely.

Yeah, when I'm cooking I still look to see if she's there begging. When I drop food, I think, well better call the dog. Her name was Ethel. She picked it, when we first got her. We were talking about what her name should be. When someone said Ethel she got excited. So that became her name.
