Default Symbolic endings to series be they american or anime

who likes symbolic endings? alot of times people don't understand them because they are too complicated or arent explained, but i enjoy them

for example the ending of Soul Eater, everyone i know hates it untill i explain
    Spoiler warning:
that when maka punches the Keishin and he cracks then explodes (after realizing his wrongs) that it symbolizes the fact he was an empty shell of nothing but fear

otherwise they simply say "the series was good but the ending was stupid"

i liked it but i hope they do a reboot of soul eater eventually and stick to the manga 100%, they changed alot of things

Would Death Note's ending qualify? Or have you ever seen paranoia agent, the way that anime ends is weird. It has to be symbolic of something. If you haven't seen I'll fill you in on what it is about. It's about a boy on rollerskates going around and randomly hitting people with a baseball bat. Police arrest him and he claims he did it because of violent video games. In the last episode a grey slime river destroys the city, oddly enough the next day,it's business as usual. The city is restored and people act like nothing happened. I'm not kidding,it really happened.Possibly it's a symbol of Japan's ability to recover after a tragedy.I only thing I do know is that this anime is weird.Really weird.

LMAO I remember that episode. I didn't catch on at first but I enjoyed it. I didn't remember the part about him being arrested though. I though he was imaginary or something lol. Might watch it again sometime this year.
