I despise Ridge Racer, but they're not bad games. Just not into the slippery handling.

I Like both Semi Simulation (Gran Turismo for example) all the way to Ridge Racer. I'm flexable

Yeah there's lots of choices for someone my age.
L and P platers have vehicle restrictions here (most states, not sure if it's all of oz though).
Mostly based on turbo and what you'd call "muscle cars".
I'm pretty sure there's still a power to weight ratio enforced on NA vehicles.
You can get a special exemption for work related activities (like work vehicles, or test drives if you're in the motor industry, etc).

But even if you're on a full licence, you can have your car impounded for misbehaving.
Get it impounded enough times and it can go to the crusher (although I don't think this has happened all that much).

Final note: you can have a registered vehicle with no insurance here.....just needs to have a roadworthy certificate and be registered.
Registration includes compulsory TAC insurance (that just covers injuries).

You can drive anything over here with L plates as long as you're with a qualified driver (who's over 21 and had their license at least 3 years), have L plates on and the relevant insurance...

P plates, who uses those fucking things?! I'm not, once I've got my license that's it.

So, if you're rich you can have a performance car when you're young?
    That's sounds sensible

Corsas now. Novas are considered too old to be chav'd up.

Yes, I could be driving a Ferrari with L plates on if I wanted as long as it was insured and I was properly supervised.
