So, I got a copy of Gears of War 3. I won't have any of the DLC until tomorrow, but I'll trade in my used copy for a new copy to get the Season Pass so I can get some DLC.

Avengers movie is a good movie. Nearly didn't get to see it because no picture came up. It was mostly sound throughout the credits. Was hoping that the picture didn't come up until just after the film started then I could have demanded my money back

The sound went out for like 2 minutes when I watched it. Nothing really happened (it was the plane scene). Really didn't get in the way of my enjoyment.

But apparently it's theater police that if sound/video goes at any point you get a free admission.

So basically I now get to see the next movie I care to watch for free.

Y'know, I never go to movies due to a combination of cost and high prevalence of poor quality film making. But if shit like this happens I may just have to reconsider.

Furthermore, I was not aware that Battleship was still happening. Nor was I aware that it looked that bad. This alone was pretty much worth the price of admission. Jesus christ Hollywood.

That movie is going to be so, so, so bad. I guess they were like "How many names big names can we put in this movie? What you mean it's still going to flop? NOT A PROBLEM."

However as Cookie pointed out I am actually kind of looking forward to the new Spider-Man film.
