i found a cheap motherboard for the computer im planing on building. Its an older board, ddr2 ram, core duo cpu etc. i just need to get some ram a hard disk and a reasonable graphics card

You'll be better off getting a newer motherboard, that way you can always upgrade later down the line. DDR3 RAM is also cheaper than DDR2 .

$20 bucks is pretty good if you ask me it also comes with a cpu which is a bonus.
