That was the problem I was having. USBloader's install through ModMii said I can use Fat32, NTFS or WBFS, and lists pros and cons for each. I finally went with WBFS on my 8GB USB drive, and my daughter is currently playing Rayman Origins

I'm going to get WBFS manager and see if I can get the Wii to recognize my 120GB external drive. So far, it hasn't liked it much.

Is your 120 2.5" or 3.5"? Most 3.5's need extra power and might come with a second USB cord for power.
My 2.5" 500GB HDD has no problems, so idk why your 120 would. :/

My 120 is an internal SATA drive enclosed in an external USB case with it's own power supply.

I really am not too surprised the Wii doesn't like it.

Is it possible to sync two computers roughly the same specs so they can combine into a super computer (synched)?

Yes, Pixar and other video based companies do it all the time. The real question is, why do you want to do it? You may find it won't give you the benefit you need since those kinds of builds aren't meant for certain applications (mainly, programs that have a maximum two core usage).

I don't really know. I thought with my ingenious thought(foolishness) I could have a super computer capable of doing what decent and recent computers are doing now.
I guess that would be a lot of work though.

My 1tb 180$ iOmega drive works fine. It just has a power cord.
