IMO, that's what got MegaUpload busted... trying to go "legit" and having celebrities endorse them. If you deal in the black market, or even in shades of grey, KEEP your HEAD DOWN.

As for MU's "celebrity endorsers"... Kim Kardashian? Really? Oh, well... Maybe she hosted her little "fame-maker" video there.
    Lol, good catch!

Nice, Rapidshare has eased up the speed cap on smaller files

*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

If this is fast, then I'm glad I started learning how to find good torrents. I've kinda gotten used to 1+ MB/s speeds.

That's nice. My connection maxes out at ~300k/s downstream, and I was downloading something else at the time.
What's your upstream? Or are you one of those torrent users that thinks torrents are done once they're downloaded?

I used to be, back when I barely knew what they were. But at the moment I have access to Comcast internet, which is pretty fast compared to available internet service providers in the area. uh...let me do a speed test..

Nowadays my rule of thumb is to upload as much as the file size i downloaded, at the very least. if i like the availability of the torrent a lot, or i notice it doesn't have too many seeders, i'll keep the torrent for a few weeks. but yea, i always try to seed reasonably to help others out, i love watching a torrent i have as it's uploading at like 600 kb/s and just feeling like im doing a good thing.

if you ever need a torrent seeded let me know, i dont mind helping out some friends

Lets face it, MU got too big for its britches and probably refused to play politics with the government. Its not the first time something like that has happened. Look what happened to Gibson Guitars.

so what your saying is if you pay the government a little fee they will turn their heads the other way and let you continue you activities but if you don't pay they will snag ya, sounds about right to me
