Turn 2 Myr Superion, turn 3 Treasure Mage, Turn 4 Wurmcoil Engine. This is in Standard? Good job Magic.

Silly WoTC trying to tell me there isn't a power creep in YuGi- er I mean, MTG.

Last game I dropped a turn 3 Wurmcoil.

Turn 1: Pass Go (Oh look it's a Darkslick Shores surely he's running UB Control)
Turn 2 Heartless Summoning, Myr Superion (Nope )
Turn 3: Grand Architect, Treasure Mage. Make 4 colorless, cast the Wurmcoil I just fetched. My opponent made a sad face.

I have a feeling nobody uses that Architect for his lord ability... Poor fella, forever doomed to make mana.

I lord my Wurmcoils for more life when I have spare mana.

Not enough people use this kind of deck methinks. It could always be bad pilots but I've made the "best 2 archetypes" scoop 3 straight times. I've test drawn a lot of hands, it doesn't feel like a fluke.

Also, humans don't feel legit. I mulled and was on the draw with a slow hand and boat raced them (and he had an explosive hand, I think he emptied his hand on turn 4 but a pile of humans don't like starting down huge artifacts). Avacyn Restored could change that though.

Edit: I'd guess it doesn't see as much play because Wolf Ramp has Ancient Grudge.
