Never had any serious probs with HP notebooks over here.Acer's can suck my balls. but word of advice dont get a HP if you get a new laptop or even desktop
they cant design em with thermals in mind for shit, after repairing my HP I modded the shit outta it (as a project its my hobby damnit!) to get it down to acceptable levels
Still got 3 in the family, the oldest is from 2005 or something.
Only ever added ram to them.
