Had a fun EDH game vs Spiders earlier. The deck did what it should more or less.

    New EDH deck built.

I think I want to build a UGx deck. Though I'm not sure where to take it though, might do UBg.

That made my brain hurt. There aren't enough pirates. Eff you WOTC.

Still want to make a sea themed deck though so it's looking like merfolk.

Yeah I feel like I didn't explain it well enough in game. So here goes:

The Legendary rule takes effect as a static ability, it doesn't use the stack, they aren't sacrificed, they aren't destroyed, they just get put into the graveyard.

Anyways, what happens is that; Sharuum comes into play, I targeted Sculpting Steel which, while on the stack becomes a copy of Sharuum, and enters play, Legendary rule goes off they both get sent to the yard. However, the second Sharuum still came into play, so her trigger goes on the stack, as per coming into play. Since the real Sharuum was is now in the graveyard, I can target her with the ability. Real Sharuum comes back, repeat ad infinitum.

Of course this is only useful if you have some actual win-con out. See: Disciple of the Vault, Arcbound Crusher, that one ALA artifact creature that gets +1/+1 and unblockable whenever an artifact comes into play.

Magic the gathering. Etc. Made that Sharuum deck much more combo oriented, not sure if I like it now. :\
