Silly question, but after all the wrong things I've done lately, I don't want to take any chances, I've put in all the wires for a part of hte motherboard (such as Power LED, HD led, etc) and while I've put them in the correct places, I'm unsure whether or not the paired ones (such as power) have the be a specific way. Don't want it being the wrong way round and me blowing up another pc

Yeah, they're just LED's, so while they'll only work one way, it won't hurt anything. I just do trial/error honestly, since every motherboard seems to want to use different markings it's usually fasterYeah I've just looked for some answers on the interwebs
