First one for me was supermario RPG on ZSNES, I remember every time there was an attack animation it would slow down. I wish ZSNES still ran right for me, too buggy.
It was Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past / Four Swords on VBA.
No no, I do care.
MUSHA on Kega Fusion sometime last year. Loved every minute
Pokemon Blue/Red for GB and Kirby's Dreamland 2. Gundam Wing Endless Duel followed shortly after. Although the first game I wanted to download months before without knowing what was an emulator was Kirby 64 (still about a year old at that time)
I remember the first time I heard about emulating and thought I had to download the Pokemon rom twice for my other sibling to play. And boy I loved tweaking the settings on Snes9x.
Super Mario Bros. I want to say 2004? 2005?
honestly? i've emulated so many games over the years that i have no clue what the first was, i can however tell my first videogame: super mario bros. with duck hunt for nes
The First I emulated was Tekken 3. That was pre-configured one just click bat file and game starts.
That's how i was able to know there is something like emulation.
Very first was CTR Crash Team Racing. When I first played it I still remembered all the tracks and everything lol.

Earthbound.
Though I accidentally got one of the ones that eats you alive with once it figures out you're emulating it.
I'm pretty sure my first emulated game was Castlevania for the NES
Front Mission: Gun Hazard
That was long ago... but I'm pretty sure it was Megaman Battle Network with VBA
