I've probably played several versions (official/unofficial) of it over the years, but two spring to mind.
One on an old Nokia phone (played it quite a bit).......and the other was X-Tetris years ago

No Tetris plus? That's my fav. Lots of levels and watching the professor freak out was classic. Tetris 2 on SNES was also fun.
I want my Atari 5200 back!
I have never played all other Tetris besides the old Gameboy one...

Truthfully... none.
But, if I had to choose, it'd be any of the multiplayer ones because my mother and sister love the Tetris games and it annoys them that I constantly beat them. I dun care about beating them... beyond the fact their reactions are hilarious.
Probably Tetris Plus i luv the added difficulty the professor brings.
Layin down enjoying the fun unleashing the power of the sun and capturing them all until I'm done.
Tetris DS.
The Grandmaster Challenge for Arcade. I'm ass at it, but I like the ranking system and the general level of polish on it.

Gotta say NES version for sure. Loved the DS version though.
Really hard to pick a most favorite, but, Tetris DX on GBC, The New Tetris on N64, and Tengen Tetris on NES. Torn between those...
But if I absolutely had to pick a most favorite, I would probably have to go with The New Tetris on N64.
Out of all the versions out there, I'd say The New Tetris on N64 is my favorite. Magical Tetris Challenge is somewhere near that list too.
No no, I do care.
For me, some of the optional modes in Tetris DS were extremely fun. Like the Zelda and Metroid modes. The ability to hold a piece is somewhat cheap, I'll admit but it's a nice thing to have in a tight spot
