It was gone for awhile while RG Wolf Ramp was taking all the swag home. Right now the meta is poised for some ridiculous control deck with tons of options to be legit. There are even 3 colour options which are always a pain in the ass when the mana base can support that. Which right now it can (thanks for reprinting Evolving Wilds wizzzards).

Modern is all about Jund. Mid-range tempo is pretty good in Modern. Life from the Loam bullshit took the last major tourn though. The format was really still undefined. There are still many options for top decks.
