There is a difference between ignorance and stupidity ignorant people can be taught
stupid people need to be shot.
Also, Amiga RGB lead arrived. Pins are bent, the casing around the scart connector is bent out of shape and doesn't fit into the TV. There is paint on the wire. The plug that goes into the Amiga has different screws in it, the whole thing just feels VERY worn/used. Yet it was listed as being in good condition.
Oh, and the best thing about the lead is that it doesn't even work. I knew I shouldn't have bought anything from airey36 on eBay.![]()
Bye bye SOR! Let's see how far ep can go..
Good condition.
For something found buried in landfill.
Yeah, if it has plug casings that can be easily pulled apart (screws) then check inside to see if any wires aren't connected to pins.
Already done that. Found a diagram for an RGB lead on the internet and this lead is wired up totally differently. Is it even an RGB cable?![]()
You found a diagram for an Amiga RGB lead and it looks different?
Dunno about the Amiga plug side, but the scart plug should be wired the same.
Unless the wire colours are not standard (mixed up).......you can get that with all kinds of leads sometimes
Also, there's always a chance there may be a break in one of the small wires.
Do you know how to do a continuity test?
On each of the small wires I mean.
Put in a request on eBay to send it back to the seller, really can't be arsed fucking around with the lead when I can get a refund and get a brand new one for an extra £4.![]()
Jolly good show!![]()
