Impulse purchase on two LSDj carts and a gameboy cartridge programmer. - ebay
I plan on reselling the LSDj carts since I have one and can easily make money on them. (silly seller posted them BIN too low.)
As for the programmer, I also purchased a lot of 10x AT49F040 flash chips. These will be put into gameboy carts and flashed with whatever I want, up to 512KB (4Mbits).
Might take requests.

if you buy the new one, it's still around US$ 100 at eBay, though... but if you buy used one, the price range starts at US$ 4 (the shipping cost that makes it expensive)
However, lucky me I bought it for US$ 8 without shipping cost whatsoever...
