That's how you lose everything. You cannot 'downgrade' after you try it, and it is a preview, so it will be time-limited. You have to format and reinstall your old OS at some point.

The new Xbox 360 dashboard is Metro, I have a Metro launcher installed on my Android phone, so why not have Metro on Windows too?

In a few years it will be all there is.

The biggest change in Windows 8 is the boot time is faster and they updated the Task Manager. Don't install Windows 8, bro.

They did that with 7, how much faster could it possibly get?

After googling the windows 8 task manager I can say I like the idea of it, showing disk usage and network usage of each process, it seems handy.

So it's like Process Explorer now?

I really don't like it man. Tablets are awesome but PCs should stay as PCs. Technology is supposed to improve, not regress.

This isn't all that bad, but I can see a huge learning curve for people when this starts coming on new PC's

When I have to use it, I intend to disable start-up Metro and use it like a fullscreen start menu: Push Windows button, type some shit, press enter to launch some shit.

Yes, I really use Windows when I want to use some shit.

There's a Desktop button on Metro. It takes you back to the 7-style desktop. I can see pretty much everyone using that.
