Fuck Google Chrome, I'm done with it.
Firefpx
I hear it's better than Firefox.
I was, too... until I spoke to a friend of mine who works in I.T., and what he said made a lot of sense.
Adobe Flash and Adobe Acrobat (PDF reader) are programs that are often exploited to allow malware and viruses into your PC. Google Chrome has it's own built-in alternatives to Adobe Flash and Acrobat, and is automatically updated to patch any loopholes in the code, often quicker than Adobe releases user-installable patches. I have Chrome as my primary browser, and my PC is Adobe-free... I've also only contracted 2 viruses in the 3 years I've been online.
Yes, Chrome monitors your browsing habits, but unless you're signed-in to a Google-based service (such as YouTube, Blogger, or Gmail) the data they collect is totally anonymous (yeah, they still know your IP, but so do other websites).
After trying Mozilla Firefox (good), SRware Iron (clunky), and IE9 (meh), I'm back to good ol' Chrome, and I'm here to stay. I just can't see a better, safer browser out there.
EDIT - Forgot to mention the add-ons! AdBlock, Disconnect and the YouTube addons are awesome... not to mention Angry Birds.![]()

Just finished yanking the harddrive out of my external enclosure. It's been acting up when used in there, so I took it out and it seems to be a bit more stable. Gonna install some random version of ... something on it to see if it's any better. Maybe Windows 8 or some Linux or something.
Nope. Hard drive is just failing. It's taking over two minutes just to change the partition map. It should not take this long to change the partition map. 45 seconds at most.
Partitioned 50GB off my C drive. Gonna dual boot 7 and 8![]()
Windows 8: Your computer is now a smartphone.
